Tourism at Kelton House
earn Sophia's Secret
Present your “calling card” and begin your time travel back
into the 19th century. Sophia Kelton will be your personal guide to the
home she and her husband Fernando built in 1852. She'll show you her Rococo
Revival furniture and the family portraits. She'll show you her beautiful
needlework and fans. But she will also share her family's secret life
as conductors on the Underground Railroad and introduce you to a runaway
making her way to freedom in Canada.
Cost: $11/person
Tour Length: 1.5-2 hours
our & Tea with Sophia Kelton
As above, Sophia Kelton will be your personal guide to the Kelton home,
followed by afternoon tea with finger sandwiches and trifle.
Cost: $15/person
Tour Length: 1.5-2 hours
Just for fun . . . take a walk in our lovely garden at no additional cost
during your visit.
Tours
Days and Times:
Monday through Friday between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
Sunday between 1 and 4 p.m.
Saturdays from November through March between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Prices are based on a minimum of 15 guests. Reservations are required
four to six weeks in advance. 50% deposit required at booking via VISA,
MasterCard, or check.
